Fujisan: Mt.Fuji

Mt. Fuji, which has beautiful long slopes, is the highest mountain in Japan with the elevation of 3,776 meters stretching on the border of Shizuoka and Yamanashi Prefectures. The mountain has been regarded as one of the three spiritual mountains, where no woman allowed to clime in ancient times. It was designated as a World Cultural Heritage Site in June 2013, and approximately 300,000 people climb the mountain every year, one-third of whom are non-Japanese.
